SDWAN Solutions has joined forces with business partner Aruba to help UK food manufacturers, retailers and logistics companies handle increasingly complex and challenging issues of supply chain disruptions and rapid digital transformation.

A series of events called ‘Food for Thought’ will take place in Manchester, Birmingham and London later this month and will not only educate and inform the attendees, but also enable SDWAN Solutions to support food bank and anti-poverty charity, the Trussell Trust.

By simply attending the ‘Breakfastless Business Breakfast’ event and listening to the UK’s only SD-WAN Subject Matter Experts for 20 minutes on how SD-WAN and SASE technology will support current food manufacturing and retail tech such as IoT, automation, Cloud, office apps, POS, CSM, ERP, RTTV, every day operations and allow for rapid digital transformation, donations will be made to the Trussell Trust, from the costs saved on the usual swanky breakfast in a 4 star location that most business breakfast events include.

The event’s agenda includes how SD-WAN and SASE help with:
• Supply Chain Issues – ERP, RTTV, SCM technology
• IoT, Food Safety & Waste Management
• Omnichannel and Smart Retail
• Engaging the Continually Connected Generations
• Security Issues and How to Beat Cyber-Attacks

There will also be a live demonstration of SD-WAN network technology, a Q&A session as well as one-to-one sessions.

“We could have spent our budget hosting CTOs, CEO, IT directors and managers in a top-class hotel. Instead we’re inviting our guests to have snack and a quality tea or coffee, while we explain all the technology’s benefits, the world-class SASE security and tailored SD-WAN solutions, so that we can donate the money saved to people who really need it, via the Trussell Trust,” says Anthony Senter CEO of SDWAN Solutions, who will be speaking at the event. ”It’s a no-brainer to us and if you’re a CTO or network manager who would like to attend the Food for Thought event - let us know; we’d love to meet you.”

Sophie Carre, head of corporate partnerships at the Trussell Trust, adds: “Over the last year, we’ve seen more people than ever struggling to afford the basics and forced to use food banks to get by. This isn’t right. We work with partners from across the food sector to support our network of over 1,300 food bank centres to provide emergency food, while also supporting our long-term vision for a society without the need for food banks. We are so grateful to have the support of SDWAN Solutions as we work to meet the immediate need, whilst also tackling the root causes of poverty and food bank use, so that together we can build a hunger free future.”

Senter says attendees will also qualify for a free, post-event deep-dive consultation with “the UK’s only SD-WAN subject matter experts”, worth £2000. “This way we can advise the UK food industry on how the latest tech innovations enable smarter ways of working, which will boost productivity and lower operating costs – savings which can be passed on to customers and so in turn reduce food pricing – tying in nicely to the Trussell Trust’s aim of tackling the causes of poverty,” he adds.
