The Metropolitan Police Service selected Sepura’s SC2 Series of TETRA terminals to replace their existing fleet in an agreement forming one of the largest single orders ever received by the UK-based TETRA specialist manufacturer.
This decision was taken after an extensive trial with the devices across numerous sites with varied teams within the force.
Trial users reported back their strong preference for Sepura SC2 terminals over other suppliers, with positive feedback based around improved performance where coverage was poor and the ease of access to emergency call buttons.

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) is replacing its many IT ‘islands' with a single, more efficient system known as Defence Information Infrastructure (DII). DII will save money and be more capable and secure.
It is the single biggest infrastructure project, to date, rolled out in Europe and when complete, over 300,000 users will be connected to the system via 150,000 User Access Devices (UADs) which could be a new desktop, laptop or mobile terminal across approximately 2,000 MoD sites worldwide.

MOD Faslane Naval Base is a primary component of HM Naval Base Clyde and is the largest military establishment north of the border. As the headquarters of the Royal Navy in Scotland, the base is the home to the UK’s fleet of Vanguardclass nuclear powered and nuclear armed submarines as well as conventionally armed nuclear powered submarines; all supported by the Fleet Protection Group Royal Marines.
